A list of common dental FAQs is below. If you have any questions that are not mentioned here, please call or email us and we will obtain an answer for you as soon as possible.

Q. Is this a regular dental clinic, or do you only see emergencies?
A. Adelaide Dental offers regular dental services, such as teeth cleaning and Invisalign. If you are an emergency patient who already has a dentist, we are happy to forward the results of the emergency visit to him or her.

Q. How often should I come in for a check-up and cleaning?
A. Each patient is unique. For some, dental visits twice a year are appropriate; others may require treatment more or less often. We will discuss the optimal frequency for you after your first check-up.

Q. What types of payment do you accept?
A. We accept debit, Visa and MasterCard. We ask patients to pay us in full the day service is provided. Our staff will gladly submit your dental claim on your behalf so you can be reimbursed as quickly as possible by your insurance company. We submit all claims electronically for faster service. We would be happy to find out the details of your insurance plan and explain them to you, especially if you are concerned about your coverage.

Q. Another dentist said I need a lot of treatment. Do I really need it?
A. Dentistry is an art as well as a science and there is often more than one way to solve a particular problem. That doesn’t mean that the first opinion is necessarily wrong; there may be more than one approach that would benefit you. But if you like, we can examine you and provide our own assessment and recommendations.

Q. Are you accepting new patients?
A. Yes, we are pleased to accept new patients, as well as referrals from existing patients.
